The Russian bride and her uniqueness

Posted on September 13th, 2009 in Dating by admin

Your first letter

So, you are creating your dating profile. It’s very important to mention your REAL height, weight, marital status, your age, education and occupation; consider adding some photos to your profile. In your very first letter to the Russian bride you can write everything you think worth mentioning in the first letter to a stranger – this can be your life position, some aims and hopes, your interests, a description of person that your are looking for. Remember one thing – it not usual in Russia to call a woman ‘dear’, ‘love’, ’sweet’ in the first letter. She may think you are insincere or too emotional. You should avoid official style, just be yourself.

What things to discuss

Never be afraid of expressing your feelings and thoughts: the Russian woman is naturally very sensitive and emotional. Ask questions and answer hers in return. Your questions might be like following: What kind of a man would you like to see near you? What is more important for you: family or business career? Ask how she spent last week and tell her what you did all this time. Write about everything you find interesting. Ask her advice on this or that matter or difficult situation in your life, share your plans for the future with her.

It would logical to wonder about how long the acquaintance by correspondence should last. In this matter you should retain the sense of proportion. On the one hand, long correspondence makes an opportunity to know each other better. On the other hand, Russian women don’t like inert men and will find long correspondence a great nuisance. Therefore you have to pick the crucial moment of transition to personal meeting intuitively. Then you should decide where your first date will take place - in her country, in your country or in any other country. On the one hand, it’s more comfortable for you to have a meeting in your country – you’ll feel yourself a master of the situation but for your beloved one it can be difficult to be in the unknown place and and that can embarrass her. Meeting in her country may seem like a better idea – she is at home and this fact will help her to be herself while your meetings. But the more fair variant is to meet in any other country – there both of you are in the same conditions.

Russian bride and her Love

Due to the reality of the Russian life (the wars and totalitarian regime) the awareness of the of the submissive role of women and to the fact the number of women in the country has always been considerably larger than that of men; this definitely can be the reason for this self-sacrifice and artificially lowered requirements. Since then the demographic situation didn’t changed.

In their love Russian women often trust their hearts, not logical thinking. One may be a tall, handsome and wealthy fellow and still fail to attract a Russian woman’s attention; the other one may be crazy about her and still fail to arouse a response in her. It does not mean she needs a man with physical or spiritual shortcomings. The thing is that she must fall in love with You and Only You and then you may count on all-conquering forgiveness and on absolute devotion.

Usually Russian woman does not expect to profit by her love, she is genuinely selfless, and she often sacrifices her career and her interests because of her family interests and needs. Devotion determines to a great extent the behavior of a Russian bride in love. For most Russian women the words of the church wedding rite ‘I vow to stay with my husband in grief and joy until death separates us’, are still the matter of current significance.

Russian lady and her husband

A married Russian woman has her life values arranged like this: children - husband - relatives - her home - her job. As you can see, husband plays one of the predominant roles in her life. Always he is a regular sexual partner. A Russian women nowadays, especially those over 25-30 years old, has certain problems with finding a man to establish permanent sexual relations with. So, the husband is everything to her. This is also proved by the fact that after the wedding the number of female friends of a young wife is considerably reduced: she doesn’t need them any more because her husband also becomes her best friend.

The husband has traditionally been the highest authority for the Russian woman. She will not go out, nor make major purchases, does not take any important decisions without first consulting with him.

For Russian women, children have always been the highest value. If you already have your own children Russian lady will surely love them too, as if they were her own ones, because the beloved man and his offsprings are inseparable for her.

The Rebound

Posted on September 12th, 2009 in Dating by admin

A relationship is one of life’s greatest gifts and pleasures. The break up of a relationship is one of life’s greatest disappointments and heartaches. Getting over that break up is definitely a lot easier said than done. Many people fall into the trap of trying to get over an ex by starting to date someone new. This is what is called in the dating world a rebound. For several reasons a rebound is not a good idea, as a general rule. The first reason is that usually when people date someone on the rebound, they are trying to replace their ex. The next reason is that if you realize you are not over your ex, you can end up hurting the person you just started dating. Another reason is that moving on with a new person right away doesn’t allow you to truly heal.

The first reason that dating on the rebound is not usually a good idea is that when you find someone new, you have a tendency to try to replace your ex right away, rather than just find someone to spend time with. You could unwittingly be mistaking residual feelings about your ex for feelings toward a new person. Many times, a rebound relationship will go too far too quickly. You might find yourself in a serious relationship before you realize what is going on. A quick and immediate serious relationship right after the demise of a serious relationship is definitely not a good thing.

Another reason rebound relationships are an emotional hazard is because if you realize that you are not over your ex and want to end your new relationship, it can wreak havoc with the feelings of the new person you are dating. You have thus proceeded to, whether intentionally or not, break the heart of your new companion. Leading someone on when you are still hooked on or hurt from another relationship is definitely not a nice thing to do.

One more reason to take your time getting back into the dating scene is that most people need time to heal after a long term relationship ends. Moving on immediately can be emotionally unhealthy. It is always a good idea to immerse yourself in spending time with friends and family that care about you, but moving on to a different dating partner may not be the best thing. Besides spending time around people who care about you, get to know yourself as a single person. You may have been part of a couple for a long time. Get to know who you are as an individual again.

For these reasons, it is clear that dating on the rebound is not a bright idea. There are many things that can go wrong when you jump straight from one relationship immediately into another. Instead of rebounding into a relationship that may not be healthy, stop, take a deep breath, and spend some quality time with yourself. Think about when you think you will feel comfortable in a new relationship. Think about whether you even want another serious relationship in the near future or whether you want to spend time with many different people for awhile. Think about the kind of person you would want to be in a relationship with. Just take time out for you instead of getting trapped into the emotion hazard of rebounding.

These dating sites will be collaborating a whole lot of single people as well. In fact, you could consider dating sites as a melting pot for single people. Because of these, a single person can now have a better and easier task to find a date.

The best thing you’ve got is your profiles, so you’d better learn to fix it properly if you are hoping to get a date aside from the canteen lady at the public school. Here are some tips that you may consider to make your profile better.

To be able to be in a groove of writing a great personal, imagine yourself being introduced by a friend to a new person at coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Try not to think that it’s your mom introducing you. If you use your mom on your imagination, you will have a biased answer as to how good you are. Think about the friend who is good at criticizing people, at least that friend will give you a realistic view of yourself.

Make your personal ad factual but casual. Remember that you are not writing a resume; unless you are looking for a date with a boss. Make it fun and humorous. The more humorous it becomes the better it attracts others. Just try not to make it too humorous because people will not take you too seriously.

That is only one way to get your profile properly written. Remember the better profile you have the better chances of someone noticing you.

The Information and Technology Revolution has geared the net savvy to tap into internet resources that offers much promise. The ability to connect in an instant and the amount of information you can access at a click on the mouse is amazing. Activities of every kind are now available online and this includes the popular indulgence of online dating. This option offers people of all ages the ability to interact with persons of the opposite sex. This enables the possibility of dating, great relationship building and even marriage.

Online dating sites offer access to a number of prospects that are matched up to your personality via the information you provide while signing in as a member of the site. Once you sign in, you can take your pick and experiment. However, it is important to note that the people you interact with online are complete strangers. You have to use your discretion and never reveal all just because you think the person is perfect for you. For online dating to be a success, you need to follow the rules. If you are careful, the interactions via online dating could culminate in good and lasting relationships via the information shared in the chat rooms.

When your profile is matched, always initially indulge in some very casual enquiries and sum up the person from day 1. If you feel that the profile simply builds on the basics in good time, by the time you share ‘how you spend your weekends’ and ‘your dream holiday destination’, you should be ready to meet. The meeting should always be in a social setting and amidst other friends of both. If you feel drawn to the person for the extended warmth and the conversation online, you can plan another meeting. Look for signs like unexpected and purposeful show of intimacy and the incessant need for another private meeting soon expressed by the person. These are warning signals. A relationship, a good one at that, is always based on compatibility and trust and a great comfort level. The moment you sense that one of you is causing the other to feel stifled, you should reconsider.

Online dating offers people from around the world opportunities to interact with others beyond any geographical constraints. This unveils a whole world of opportunity for anyone including loners and the older singles. If the connectivity is put to good use, it can optimize your chances of getting into a relationship that has the elements of mystery, charm and trust, depending on how far you want to go. The adventure aspect of such a proposition is very alluring and the do’s and don’ts are clear for any level headed individual to see and act by. Online dating sites enable you to upload the information you wish to share and strike contact almost instantaneously in the chat rooms. There are many people who swear by the success ratio of online dating because of the healthy relationships they enjoy. There are a few upsets as well, but if you weigh the pros and cons, you realize that discretion and caution are the two magic mantras of online dating.

Take Some Positive Dating Steps Now!

Posted on September 5th, 2009 in Dating by admin

There’s a lot of information about online dating – how to choose a dating site; how to write your profile; how to pick a photo . . .

. . . but there’s not a lot about having the right attitude. Just like any aspect of your life, online dating requires a positive attitude. Assuming the worst makes for rotten profile writing, bad picture selection and negative responses. Instead, make life easy for yourself by taking these positive steps now:

1) Sign up – stop prevaricating and browsing and actually register. It’s fun and it’s rewarding and you’ll be amazed at how easy it is. Think about what you’re like and what you want to get out of the site and then just do it!

2) Be yourself – pretending to be someone or something you’re not backfires in the end. There are thousands of people registered on dating sites – don’t make the common mistake of assuming that there’s no-one out there who will be interested in you. Just tell it as it is; lead your readers with bits of information that might encourage them to respond and sit back to see what happens.

3) A good photo counts – every profile needs a good photo to go with it. You don’t have to be a supermodel or a hunk – just a good quality, clear photograph of yourself is all it takes – and remember you can update your profile whenever you like, so stick a new photo up after your holiday or with a new haircut – it really does matter.

4) Take control – once you get some responses, don’t rush the replies. Take the time to read what’s been written carefully and write good replies. Pick and choose the ones that you want to get back to and ditch the ones you don’t. Taking control is a really positive step and dictating how you reply and how you move forward towards an actual date can give you loads of confidence and optimism.

5) Feel good! This is a great step you’re taking. In thousands of cases, it’s led to finding a partner for life or a new best friend. Don’t have really high expectations; take things as they come and enjoy every minute.

Use these tips and the other articles in this month’s magazine to get out there and make the most of your online dating experience!
